Lights of Lakeland

Since I am having a rough night I figured I would jump on and post about somethign that brings up happy memories. This past weekend we took the girls to Lights of Lakeland. (we being, me and Keith) It is the first time either of us have ever been. I have to say I enjoyed it myself too!

A few days before this we went to visit santa at the mall with Kai and Kami!! We made sure to send off our letters to santa too!

Our weekend of Christmas fun!

Our weekend started out with the Christmas Parade... okay so maybe it wasn't quite the weekend since it was Thursday, but oh well. I was sick. oh so sick. I had actually told the girls we weren't going to go. BUT when I realized how quiet it was in the house and found that they had put themselves to bed, it broke my heart. I knew how excited they were to go to the Christmas parade. So I drug myself outta bed, and into the closet.. and kinda sorta got dressed. I dont think I did anything with my hair, but oh well.... I (sicker than a dog) took them to the parade. I am glad I did though, they were so happy... and their smiles just MAKE me feel better. :)

Then Friday night, I was told that Munn Park did some fun stuff.. so why not.. I was feeling a little better, and this was something "Uncle Keith" could do with us. So we went out, there was not much there, but the girls did enjoy seeing some of the parade floats up close, the lights downtown, and their Hot Chocolate! :)

Thennnnnnnnn.... on saturday Lake Mirror had snow... there was no way I could deny them this opportunity! so we went to play in the snow.. we even found someone selling cute little bracelets for only a $1.. they dont take those bracelets off now :)

Trimming the Tree

Isn't that what they call it? The girls were so excited to get to decorate for Christmas.. I go all out, I have a TON of decorations, which I basically got from my mom plus my own. The girls felt like they were in "christmas-land" they kept saying. I made hot cocoa and we turned on Christmas music. I LOVE Christmas :)

Thanksgiving 2010!!

We had a great Thanksgiving day. We celebrated this year at Marc & Beccas house. It was a perfect day, good food, funny kids, my parents and of course the Black Friday Ads ;) As with all past Thanksgivings, I can't take any credit for any of the food.. maybe I should learn how to cook something besides rice and pasta? HAHA. Maybe next year!

Decorating

I love to decorate! I put together a collage of items I really would like to have for the girls room... I think it will look really good :)

Puzzle!

Velvet puzzle from the target dollar aisle = big hit with Claire and Chrissy. They are already getting super excited about Christmas, so they absolutely LOVED the santa puzzle:)
